The majority of the Hope Sports fee covers the building materials and furniture of the houses that we build, the remainder covers food, housing, ground transportation, post-build program, etc. Our trips are all-inclusive, turnkey experiences that provide high impact to those we serve.

Steps To Book A Trip

Secure Build Dates
1. Make an Inquiry
Select a location where you’d like to build.
Request a date, location and how many homes you’d like to build and our Hope Sports registrar will contact you with information on how to register your group. It is good to book your team as far in advance as possible.
Many of the US holidays are popular and those dates can fill up a year in advance.

2. Secure Build Dates
Within 30 days of registering, a $1000 deposit per house being built is due. You will receive an invoice from our registrar. Until we get the first payment we cannot secure your team’s date.

After your group is registered, you will receive a registration link from our registrar. Please give this link to all team members to complete. Every member of your group must fill out the “Release of Liability” and the “Consent for Medical Treatment” on the link.
If someone in the group does not have a passport they should apply for one as soon as possible. It can take up to six weeks to receive a U.S. passport. Each person in the group should also bring a photocopy of their passport.
All minors traveling without a parent or legal guardian need an “Affidavit of Parental Consent” signed by the parent/guardian. This is to comply with Mexican law and it allows the minor to cross the border with the group. Click here to download the form, then print it out and bring it.
4. Finalize Details
The total balance of all fees are due 30 days prior to your arrival. This will be your final payment. We rely on teams to make this final payment 30 days before so that we can buy the lumber, get the concrete slab poured, order the hardware, and other expenses that we incur before the team arrives.
Approximately four weeks prior to your arrival we will send your group’s agenda, logistics, preliminary build information, and emergency contact information.
Approximately ten days prior to your arrival, you will receive the final details of your trip. Review the information and if there are any last minute changes, communicate with Hope Sports Team Contact.

How to fund your Hope Sports trip:
- Ask your sponsors. Sponsors often join our trips and enjoy getting to know the teams they support. It is also a great media opportunity.
- Appeal to your supporters. Athletes regularly fundraise for Hope Sports trips by asking their fans and communities to contribute.
- Peer-to-Peer Fundraising. Use our online fundraising platform to help raise funds for your trip
